Spray!

Just heard Jaxon in the bathroom say "SPRAY!..."SPRAY!". It never dawned on me that he would actually be spraying the bathroom with his pee! Thankful for God's grace in that moment. Oh the joys of parenting.

Xander turns 9 mos old!

9 mos old! Where did the time go? I find myself holding tight to these little moments and thinking there are only so few "baby" days left. Sweet dreams little man.

Hotel Dining

Xander is preparing to enjoy yummy banana yogurt in his make-shift highchair (office chair and removable duffle strap) in our Hotel room. This idea worked out very well!

Yummy, food!

Xander started cereal over the weekend. I really wanted to wait one more week, but this little guy's appetite has really picked up! As you can tell he would have preferred to feed himself or, why waste time with a spoon, he'd  just drink the stuff out of the bowl. I think we may have an eater on our hands.

Last night Jaxon was playing train with our dinning room chairs and came to find me asking for my wallet. When I asked what he needed from my wallet he replied, "a rectangle with a guy on it"! (aka a dollar to buy his "train ticket")

He has been too clever these past two days.

A truly Jaxon comment

This morning I tell Jaxon, "we look with our eyes not our hands". He proceeds to tell me, "this is my finger". Oh boy! This 3 year old child rearing thing is going to be an adventure.

Xander Rolled Over!

It's official, we have a rolly polly now! Xander rolled over for the first time today. He is simply getting too big too quick and I am trying to enjoy every moment of his new little life.

Praising the Lord for the beautiful children he has entrusted to our care.Mommy and Daddy love to watch you grow.

Add a little "bounce"

Tonight as I was fixing dinner, I said, " I need a couple ounces". So Jaxon proceeded to give me a couple "bounces"!

I thought that was too cute.
